Personal information

You may be required to provide personal information to us when ordering a product or registering for email updates. You will know when this information is being collected because you will be asked to complete and submit a form. We need this information to deliver products to customers, provide customer support, to administer customer accounts and/or gather marketing and shopping habits information about our customers. You can access, correct and update certain personal information that you have provided to us by logging in to the site with your username and password.

When you navigate on our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s protocol Internet address (IP address), that allows us to get more information about the browser and operating system you are using.

Email messaging

With your permission, we could send you emails about the online shop, new products, and other novelties. The personal information (name, family name, email address) that you will provide to subscribe to our newsletter are stored in a secure location and accessible only by designated staff. Except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, personal information is not released to third parties.  

If you prefer not to receive promotional information from us, you may unsubscribe from our email services by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any promotional message you receive from us.

Surveys

If you complete online surveys on any of our websites, Clothes & Roads may use the information collected from the online surveys to compile reports on customer satisfaction for our customers. Such information may include the survey participant’s name, age, address, telephone number, and email address. Participation in our surveys is always optional. Due to the sensitive nature of research data, any information that is collected is treated with the utmost confidentiality. Clothes & Roads will not sell any personal information gathered from individual respondents.

Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Third-party services

We won’t share our customers’ personal information to third parties except to internal and external service providers with whom we resort to in order to simplify or subcontract one or many aspects of our operations pertaining to business, products, and services that we offer unless you gave us authorization.

These service providers are subject to confidentiality agreement and other legal restrictions that forbid them to use the information we provide them to other means that facilitate a specific operation that we confide in subcontract unless you explicitly accepted or gave your permission beforehand.  

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
